The Suburbs
The album cover for Arcade Fire‘s newest album The Suburbs (due out on August 3rd), is so awesome. Gabriel Jones took these photos “during a road trip in various suburbs in Texas followed by a studio shoot in Montreal where the selected suburb images where then projected on a large projection screen. The car and band members where positioned in front of the various suburb landscapes”. Pretty rad!

I Want You, is a magazine published by Dumb Eyes that “spotlights forgotten or overlooked artists”. Amazing art in a large scale format is what makes this zine so great. Issue #3 is free at the moment and all you have to pay for is shipping. I also love it how they put their posters online as free downloads as well. Tip of the hat to Wesley Yendrys, who first brought this zine to my attention.
Diamond Comics
Corey Thompson first brought this zine to my attention! It’s called Diamond Comics, and it’s put together by the guys at Floating World Comics in Portland. They don’t sell these online, but I’m sure if you email Jason he could send you out a copy for a few bucks + shipping.
