I thought I would start close to home with my first post. So here are some amazing photographs by JJ Berg a young photographer in Cincinnati. He also has a blog he updates every once in awhile. Enjoy!
Gerry Alanguilan
Hello All!
My name is Yasmine and I am a designer and illustrator based in the Bay Area. Aside from drawing a whole lot, making magazines and mini comics and sewing random things, I like to read a lot of comics, both mainstream and obscure.
And I’d like to start this series of comic-related posts with one of my favourite comic inkers and draftsmen, Philippine-based Gerry Alanguilan. His technique is amazing and so detailed.
Santiago Ortiz
Thanks for this opportunity! For my first post, I’d love to share Santiago Ortiz’s Love is Patient, an autonomously moving collage of 20 Kelly Castro portraits using the “Voronoi algorithm, which creates polygons from a list of points on the plane.” Pretty damn cool. Open the link to see it in its full glory! -RH
Guest Bloggers #3
We’ve got four amazing people guest blogging this week on PICDIT. Yasmine Surovec runs an inspirational blog called a print a day. Brian Luman, all around amazing photographer, regularly updates his Flickr with fantastic photos. Romke Hoogwaerts posts interviews with different photographers on his blog, MOSSLESS. And, Sam Brewster, an extremely talented illustrator based in the UK.
I’m very excited to see what these guys have to post this week! 🙂
